Two-axis extruder 2D25S (L/D25) (for lab plastomill)

Two-axis extruder (parallel type) for mixing and extrusion molding evaluation test equipment for Laboplast mill.

It is a parallel twin-screw extruder that has stronger mixing than a single-screw extruder and is less prone to surging (slipping). It comes with a vent port for gas release and has a type with an L/D ratio of 25.

Dehydration - Expansion Technology

It is also possible to prevent deterioration due to local heating! A rationalization technology for processing with a twin-screw extruder (TEX) has been established.

The production of polymers such as rubber copolymers is generally carried out through methods like emulsion polymerization or solution polymerization. Traditionally, methods using a single-axis pre-dehydrator and an expansion extruder for drying were common, but we have now established a rationalization technology that processes everything with a single twin-screw extruder (TEX), which we would like to introduce. By using a twin-screw intermeshing type screw, efficient transportation and extrusion of polymers are possible. Additionally, issues such as poor feeding of raw materials, slit leakage, and surging instability are resolved. 【Features】 ■ Stable operation ■ Space-saving ■ Energy-saving ■ Prevention of polymer quality degradation *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Introduction to the evaporation effect of TEX water addition.

Simultaneous high-efficiency volatile removal and low-temperature extrusion are possible! Introducing water-added degassing extrusion technology.

Our company uses a twin-screw extruder called 'TEX' for one method of removing volatile components from polymers, known as devolatilization extrusion. To meet the increasingly stringent requirements for reducing residual volatile component concentrations year by year, we have developed a water-addition devolatilization extrusion technology. By injecting water as a devolatilization aid, it is possible to enhance the devolatilization performance to levels that were previously unattainable (residual volatile component concentrations of several +ppm or several ppm). This technology involves providing a kneading section that combines a seal ring and a kneading disk upstream of the vacuum vent, allowing for water injection under high resin pressure. **Advantages of using water as a devolatilization aid:** - Easily obtainable - Inexpensive - High latent heat - Does not react with most resins - Easy to separate *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Technical Case Study: Wood Flour Compounding Using TEX

It features the characteristics of blending technology and the development of wood powder compounding!

The manufacturing process of wood products generates a large amount of fine wood powder. There is a growing movement to reuse this wood powder by compounding it with plastic to create new wood products. Due to various constraints in wood powder compounding, a twin-screw extruder with a deep groove screw like 'TEX' and high torque, along with advanced kneading technology, is required. This document introduces wood powder compounding using our twin-screw extruder 'TEX'. We invite you to read it. 【Contents】 ■ Features of TEX kneading technology - Transport of wood powder - Dispersion of wood powder - Treatment of wood vinegar gas - Pelletizing system ■ Development of wood powder compounding *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Twin-screw extruder [TEX] series

A high-end twin-screw extruder equipped with infinite possibilities for various fields.

A twin-screw extruder used to enhance the added value of plastic raw materials is referred to as a compounding extruder. Our company manufactures the "TEX" series of twin-screw extruders to meet the demands for high performance and high quality. The TEX is utilized not only for traditional inorganic fillers, masterbatch compounds, polymer alloys, and GF/CF compounds but also for a wide range of applications including reactions, degassing, dehydration, biomass compounds, long fiber compounding, and supercritical carbon dioxide compounding. By incorporating JSW's unique technologies that dramatically improve compounding performance (compounding screws, compounding cylinders, high-distribution compounding screws) and new solutions for increased discharge capacity (Side Feed Deaerator), we guide our customers into new realms that traditional machines could not achieve.

Application of compound TEX in the cosmetics field.

Stabilization of product properties has been achieved! Introducing a case study on the development of continuous manufacturing processes in the cosmetics field.

We are pleased to introduce the successful development of a continuous manufacturing process in the cosmetics field through the application of the high-speed twin-screw extruder 'TEX'. The manufacturing method involves the precise supply of various additives such as main raw materials and UV absorbers from the hopper, followed by the metered supply of fats from the pump into the cylinder for kneading and dispersion. By kneading at high speed, we obtain an emulsion product with a fine and uniform kneading dispersion state. Previously, production was done using batch mixers, but the application of the high-speed twin-screw extruder has enabled improvements in productivity through continuous processing and stabilization of product properties. 【Features】 ■ Fine and uniform kneading dispersion state of emulsion products is achieved through high-speed kneading. ■ Increased productivity through continuous processing. ■ Stabilization of product properties is realized. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
